  • HOP tells the story of a little frog who has one leg shorter than the other, so he can’t jump. But that doesn’t get in the way of the hijinks he gets into with his friends, who also happen to have a range of disabilities. Quebec City’s Loomi Animation is working on the new animated series co-created by Marc Brown, the brains behind Arthur. CBC’s Sarah St-Pierre visited the animation studio to talk with executive producer Steve Couture, animator Francis Lacasse and storyboard artist Elyssa Tousignant about the show and what it meant to them to bring it to life right in St-Roch.

A petition to save the Marmota trails amassed over 10,000 signatures, but the city has announced no one is to use the site until demolition. We spoke to Jean-Philippe Nadeau Langevin, a member of the campaign, to find out where things stand.
